Some advise pls. Very difficult teen almost 17 left school, works full time earnings unknown but above the limit which requires parent A to pay any child support. Teen lives with parent B who is struggling financially . Teen refuses to contribute in anyway, wont help around the home, refuses to contribute to costs in any way. From what we have read up to the age of 18 parents must provide for a child. So why is it parent A contributes nothing according to child support due to the teens wage, but parent B is left to support the teen fully.

Further to the above question. Would the solution be that Parent E offers the 16 year old the opportunity to relocate with parent E or stay with Parent L in the same location ? Where does parent E stand if the 16 year old refuses to relocate ? but wont stay with parent l either ? Can parent E be forced to stay until the teen turns 18 or again be charged with abandonment if they relocate.
