Hello, I’m starting a fashion (retail) business, and on creating the logo for it I found a statue being sold on Alibaba.com (China region) of a panther and inspired by it decided to use this for my logo, business. I have a a name that is legally under my name, but for the panther I want to use like Nike uses the tick. I have provided the original photo of panther statue below and my logo next to it. My question is it legal to do so? And am I able to trademark this in the future wether internationally or nationally only?...if I can’t use what can I do to not infringe copyright or being sued?
