NSW Scam on Facebook - What to Do?

Hi,

There was an post that came up on my Facebook page about a blackhead remover mask. People had commented on the ad and l clicked on it and came up to register before viewing products will. l did with my name and address so then the product came up to view. l wasn't interested, so closed the page.

Hours later, l get an email saying thanks for your purchase. l'm like what? I didnt purchase anything. It says when you receive the product, send the payment and l googled the name luxstyle and there a big scam.

They have sent be the product to people and threaten them if the don't pay with debt collectors and they're from overseas. Like what do you do?

I didn't purchase anything and they don't even have a contact. Nothing. Do l just not worry if something is sent? If it is, l will just return to sender?

They have been scamming a lot of.people from what l have been reading. Not good, please help.

If something arrives do not open it. Send an email saying you didn't order anything and that if they pay for return postage you will send the item back.

Wait, see what happens. Ignore threats. Repeat your earlier denials of ordering anything and that you will return the item when they pay in advance for return postage. Repeat each time a demand for payment is made.

Keep copies of the scam pages you found and each email you send back. Keep a document trail in case it is needed.

Ok will apprently people are saying they recieve it and some dont but get threating emails and letters to pay there is no contact for them no number and when u click on page when there sent u email saying about order its blank l will see what happen and keep u updated thanks for replying

The package came. It says it's from Luxstyle Denmark and no post people came today and tonight. We have been home and none have come then and l just went outside and it's sitting on the doorstep, which is strange. There is not even an Australian post thing on it. Nothing. Just a white sticker that says Luxstyle and it has a cross over the name.

OK. Send an email back saying again you didn't order any products. At this stage, do not say anything about receiving a parcel.

How much are they claiming you owe? Is there a return address on the package? Is there a consignment note/packaging slip on the outside of the package? If yes, see what it says about the items in the package.

Oh, l sent an email saying l received a package that l didn't not order. There's no slip - just a little white sticker l typed the address of the sender and it in came up in UK, but they said they are in Denmark as well.

I sent them the email and I said l didn't order it. l have a right to send it back within 14 days as that's what l just read on their website. But it's a really dodgy package - no slip on the outside. You have to open it, but l'm not opening it.

lol, it's probable not even worth $2 - who knows. But l will send it back.
