I have not paid a cent to these criminals. I called their bluff and they have disappeared. I suggest people ignore them entirely, do not correspond with them. The "collection agency" is fake and if you engage with them they will try to intimidate you.
I'm in Australia but I know here we are protected from scammers who post unsolicited goods and are not required to pay for them or even return them unless the postage is prepaid by the seller. (scammer). Know your rights and don't be frightened into paying these crims a cent.
