Suppose custody of a child is 3 days/4 days (43%/57%). If there were a property settlement, would there be any consideration that the parent who had care 3 nights had contributed to the care of the child? Will one parent be privy to other's property as if they were the sole provider because of the extra day per fortnight?

Care levels for children & financial contributions are taken care of via child support payments & are not given a great deal of weight in the context of property settlements...

The exception is section 75(2) considerations... Basically an adjustment in favour of a parent that has primary care. It's a relative thing *generally* (meaning relative to the amount of money assets in the pool) @ 43/57, I don't think that would alter a property settlement by much at all, if any
