My understanding at this point is once requested to remove the caveat it will be forced to either start court proceedings or withdraw the caveat. Due to the caveat having incorrect information it is highly likely to be struck out?

@Clancy may not be a lawyer, but he's made some effort to help,
when he could just as easily have remained silent.

And, since you say that you now have a lawyer,
then be guided by them. You have no further need of us.

Besides I was of the impression this was to help people with legal questions/dilemma's. Someone else might find my post or the comments that followed it helpful. Clancy clearly didn't read my post properly as I did have other options.

I genuinely made every attempt to repay the loan, only my ex did not want the amount loaned, he wanted more, a lot more as it turns out. It is not my fault he and his mother put incorrect details on the caveat. One must ask why the wrong details where put there in the first place? Maybe people should stop being greedy Tim W.

I was of the impression this was to help people with legal questions/dilemma's.
You'll find that those of us on here who are actually lawyers
will tend to be very cautious in replying to questions
put to us by a user who already has a lawyer.
