i phoned VCAT regarding lodging a form with VCAT to get the information on my deceased mothers bank statements from the bank, they have informed me, as my mother has had no dealings/file with VCAT that they can NOT ask the bank to release documents to me as my mother is deceased.
I'm getting the run around from vcat and bank.
Can somebody here please advise me.
I'm running out of time as the bank has told me they only keep statements for 7 years, so 30 june 2020 they will start shredding documents, this is what the branch manager has told me.
