If a person got raped and a baby got convinced by the persons ex's partner (no longer together). Currently DHS are involved because they have concerns about the father but not the mother One of the assessment's for the father is the outcome of the criminal case. The mother first didn't want to have anything to do with her child but she changes her mind and currently have access visits. If the mother has a relationship with her child or is seeking custody. There is a current criminal investigation of the father in regards to the r**e.
My question is Would the mother changing her mind and wanting to have involvement with her child and possible regarding custody affect the investigation outcome?
Or Is the investigation and DHS two different matters and the mother's involvement with her child possible regaining custody have no affect on the current r**e investigation even tho it's part of the father's assessment?
