First of all, I have never done such a thing and would never dream of doing such a thing.
The back story.
So the police seized my computer as there where bookmarks on there that i had saved from many years ago, like " sex with stepdaughter ", but there was nothing in it, just your basic porn stuff. my now partner found them and contacted my ex stepdaughter's ( who is now 16 ) boyfriend who is 21 ( and her mother allows this under her roof ) and told him about it. i have no regrets on what she done as we are now back together after a long chat.
He ( the boyfriend ) told my ex-stepdaughter about it, they went to the police and made a complaint about it. I was interviewed by two CPI officers, eventually they arrested me on 1 charge of indecent contact with a child but released me on bail. my ex-stepdaughter said it was from when she was 13 and that i touched her in her sleep. I am protesting my innocence as i have NEVER EVER done such a thing.
Her boyfriend ( who is 21 let me remind you ) stated to the police that him self and my girlfriend watched a video of my ex-stepdaughter in the shower that i took?!?!?! My girlfriend has said to me and the police that asked her about it, that she never done such a thing, and i believe her, and also there are no photos or videos of my ex-stepdaughter except ones of her riding her horse, family photos ( which i am going to delete ) and a few other normal kinds of photos.
My question is: After my court date ( as i can not see a lawyer until after that as the police will not give me the charge sheet ), can i inform the lawyer of this fact, and can he/she then get the case dismissed or even have the " boyfriend's " comment/statement thrown out due to the fact that he has blatantly lied to the police?
