I caught in shoplifting and plead guilty and have to go to court. Will it affect my healthcare service and application of Permanent Residency?

In Victoria first offenders can apply for a Diversion. What state are you in?

Hi Tony, I was caught shoplifting at makeup store in Victoria. The police were called and my picture was taken by the store manager. I was also given a cautioning notice for a first time offence by the police but do not need to go to court.

Is the cautioning notice in my criminal record?
Will this affect my application for a citizenship/jobs in Australia?
Will future employers know about my record?
And is there a way to have it erased?

I am currently a PR holder. It was my first and last attempt at something so stupid. Please seek to advise.

No actual criminal history but police keep a record if future thefts. This cannot be erased. Future employers shouldn't be informed.

I am unaware about PR status.

I have the same situation with you. How are you now? Is it really affect your PR?
