Apparently there is a video of myself that has been uploaded on the internet without my consent. It is of a sexual nature and the tricky part is I was aware of cameras in the house but he was a friend of mine and I had no idea or did I ever consent to any recordings of me to be shared.
What can I do. Also he was violent and very psychologically abusive. I do have reason to believe there were several people that also had access to watching me whilst I was in the house. I know there was gaslighting and other forms of domestic violence.

I have a scar on my nose from him punching me and also had my phone messed with and my bike had a tracker on it from him . My wallet I suspect they stole and possibly have done fraud. How do I find out? What do I tell police? Do not want to be perceived anything else but a victom of crime.

I’m not sure why you wouldn’t be perceived as a victim? If you want police to get involved and have some sort of resolution, you need to attend your local police station and provide a detailed statement. Police should also explain your options.

I'm sorry this happened to you. Looks like there's a whole bunch of criminal offences here.

Report it to the Police, tell them everything (don't leave anything out) and do it as soon as you can. Also, don't worry yourself about knowing there was a camera - you can't be watched or filmed in these circumstances without consent. Cameras are everywhere now, including in nearly every mobile phone, but knowing they exist is not consent to use them.

You want to jump on this as quickly as possible, because a court can order the offender to delete anything they have or have posted online. If they don't comply, they'll be slapped with more offences. The urgency is important because you don't want him or others using that material to generate a heap more fake content. The whole "Deep Fake" thing is very real and is speading like a wild fire out of control.

If you want to understand more about the law, take a look at the following. I know legislation can look daunting, but these sections are actually pretty clear and not to difficult to understand. I'm not a lawyer, but if you have any questions, there's a few people here that will be able to answer them.

These are all from the NSW Crimes Act - Part 3 Offences against the person
Division 15B Voyeurism and related offences
Division 15C Recording and distributing intimate images

If you were or looked under 16 years of age at the time, then also look at this:
Division 15A Child abuse material

And if you were under 16 years of age at the time, then this is much more serious than you think:
Subdivision 5 Children - sexual assault

In relation to assault, you also have this from Division 8 Assaults:
59 Assault occasioning actual bodily harm

If you want to know more about how bad the Deep Fake situation is getting, try to find the 2023 documentary "Another Body". It's not the best doco out there because it can be a bit slow at times, but it's certainly one of the most important that I've seen in quite a while. I don't know where you can find it online, but here's links to the home and IMDb pages - you might be able to find it from one of those.
Another Body (2023) - Official Web Site

I think you should consider reaching out to a local support organization for assistance and guidance. In terms of legal action, you should consult with a lawyer who is specializing in such privacy and criminal laws.
For any further guidance Lawtruly.com a legal firm will be happy to assist.
