hello, on a commercial property driveway entry, that has a trespass sign "no entry unless authorized" if a vehicle that is not authorized enters the property and causes damage, would this constituent trespassing and can be charged as such?
from reading of legislation, the sign is considered a notice, but its not clear on the trespassing level.

trespassing legislation Victoria.
i dont know which other ACTs exactly may be involved, but i assume primarily Section 9 of the Summary Offences Act 1966 (Vic) ?
property is signed: "no entry unless authorized" = notice ?
unauthorized vehicle enters signed property.
unauthorized vehicle causes property damage.
can police act and how should they?

is this trespassing? and if so would it be criminal? civil? something else?

thanks
