Hello,

I would like to receive a bit of information about how tenancy works in Victoria.
We had 1 year rental lease agreement at a property and we decided to extend it for one more year. By the end of first year, one of the tenant decided to move out so we started looking for one more tenant and gave the bond amount back to the tenant who has moved out and has taken the bond from the new tenant. Now , after end of 2nd year we are waiting for RTBA and our property manager to receive our bond back but the the tenant who moved after 1 year is threatening to go to VCAT as he needs his bond back. The tenant who moved in after 1 year is a valid tenant for that property and his name comes under the monthly payment receipt along with confirmation letter from our property manager that he is valid tenant . Now, what are the possible options to resolve this matter.
It was know that the new tenant who decided to move in after 1 year has refused to enter his name in rental agreement .

Regards
