Hello. A state school in a rural area published a centenary book with images and text from community. The book is copyrighted to the school and the school has since closed down.
The local museum has had requests for the book and they are wanting to print a number of copies to sell.
Regarding copyright, who do they contact to get permission to print the book?
Thank you - Jo1831

ps. This is in Tasmania.
It is a collection of images with text that was written by the public., for example, stories of school days and experiences in the community over the past century.
Most images were supplied by public as well, school supplied some as well.
Thanks.

Copyright is going to vest in either the person who compiled the content (editor/ author),
or, with the Department of Education (whatever that's called in Tasmania).
