Hello,

I have been informed and shown screenshots of a fake Tinder account that is using my facenook pictures.

They are using the Tinder account to catfish women, no monetary gain it would seem. Just to chat in a flirtaceous/sexual message way. They are not using my name, however my pictures.

They are on the other side of the country and not local to me.

Is there anything under criminal law that would end this?

Thanks

Rod

Yes. Report the account to Tinder and the police.

Yes. Report the account to Tinder and the police.
I did call the local Police and they said that 'it wasn't a police matter as the pictures on my FB are in the public domain'. What's your opinion?
