My sister-in-law claims to have private photos of me, that were sent to someone else and is threatening to show my family. What can I do about this breach of privacy?

Wouldn't have thought a restraining order is possible for this behaviour is possible. Defamation is not appropriate - truth/honest opinion defence would apply.

Were any of the photos of a sexual nature? Might have a cause of action under one of the new sexting laws.

Depends.
Could it be true?
