WA - Rolled Back Odometer Car - What to Do?
I, claimant, have not win the case however the judge has given the order for the defendant to pay the cost for trying to set aside the judgement (spend approx. $10-11K so far). I have heard that not all $11K will be returned. Yesterday the defendants lawyer has offer $3K to settle the matter.
I would like to know if the general procedure claim can be adjusted? Claim $16K. Car has been sold for $8K. The general procedure claim will be reduced to $8K as I have sold the car.
I have spent $33K including the car price and have only recover $8K from selling the car. Is there anyway I can get this back? Can I request for the total loss at the next hearing? If I take $3K + lawyer fee, my loss will be close to the original claim?
