I sold my couch privately via gumtree a few weeks ago.
The buyers inspected the item, were happy with the condition and a price of $800 was agreed on.
1 week after the buyer picked up the item they have contacted me saying the couch now has an 'odour' and they wish to have a refund.
The item had no odour when it left my property and was in good condition.
Does this buyer have any right?
I am not happy to give a refund when they had the product for 1 week before contacting me and I am unsure as to what they have done to the item in that time.
