My landlord decided to sell the house, I am in 1 year fixed term lease, with 2 months left on the lease. The real estate agents scheduled 10 open houses for a month. I asked for 2 times only but the real estate agents disagree. I asked to finished the lease one month early, but the landlord won’t agree.

What should I do? Do I have any tenants rights under property law?

Hi @erika,
In accordance with section 53(4) of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010 (NSW):
A tenant is not required to agree to the residential premises being available for inspection by prospective purchasers more than twice a week.

The Tenants NSW Factsheet 08 on Access and Privacy also notes:
You must not unreasonably refuse to agree to days and times for showing the premises – however, you need not agree to more than 2 showings in any period of a week.

Hope this helps. Please keep us updated with your progress.
