So I need to get out of my lease to look after my dad. I found a couple who are hard working and earn a lot of money but they just have no rental history. But anyway, I went online to find my real estate agents email, and when I got on, it said it permantly closed!

So I rang them and was met by a machine telling me to ring this number or leave a message with name and number. So I looked up the phone number and it's a completely different real estate! I was not notified at all about this.

Anyway, so does this mean that my lease contract is now void or null or broken? I'm not sure what the correct term is!

Thank you in advanced

Unlikely. A lease is with the landlord, not the agent.
