Purchased a 2019 ford Everest titanium from a dealership in Victoria end of November 2024 that we had been assured it was fit for sale and had a service done prior to being sold to us.
Unfortunately this was not the case and we figured out it hadn’t been. Returned it for a service and they preformed an EGR pressure test that came back as faulty and EGR needed to be replaced. They did this under “good will” however since that had been done we have had the car back to them 3 times for overheating issues and have now just found out there is scarring on the pistons meaning water/coolant has been getting into the engine. I.e failed EGR either before or after. They are now saying we are not under warranty. They have said they will try to process for good will for a motor replacement.. we have not even done 10,000kms in this car and it’s only at 130,000kms now.
Seeking advice.
