Hey everyone I have a question and any information offered is greatly appreciated.

I have to give the liquidator the amount that I think I am owed of underpayment of wages. I have already received an amount from the Fair Entitlements Guarantee which included 13 weeks as well as my notice period and annual leave.

FEG paid all of that out to me at the current award which came into effect on July 1 this year.

So my question is. When I submit my proof of debt to the liquidator. Do I do it at the current award rate. Or for what the award was for those years I was underpaid?

Thanks in advance

Supposed to be at the rate applicable at the time of underpayment.

I'm curious though about FEG. Do you have to submit the amount to the Liquidator so that FEG gets paid back 'something' (ie x cents in dollar) by the Liquidator?

I’m not sure. I was told to include the feg payment in the total amount but deduct what feg has already paid out before I added in the underpayment of wages, super and annual leave

OK. So it seems FEG hasn't paid the complete amount owed to you, just some of it.

You'll need to find the 'older' award rates for each of the time periods you were underpaid.
