Hi
My father inlaw is on the pension and 20 years ago he gave his daughter 90k deposit on constructive trust for our family home as deposit and appears on the title with me
Centrelink have investigated and have confirms it was constructive trust and he can keep receiving the penson
We continue ( I pay it ) his land tax as it’s my principle residents for the last 20 years
2 questions : can he avoid paying lands tax as he has nothing to do with property
2 I am looking at selling and have spent over 600k on renovation
When I sell does he have to pay capital gains tax as he will not receive any funds from sale and has never submitted a tax return for property
Please help
