Will has gone to probate but now has "Outstanding requisition" listed, can someone explain what has happened.

Hi Whatif,

Contact the court to ask them what the problem is. A requisition is where probate documents have been lodged but there is some sort of problem with the documents or some sort of error.

I agree with Paul, contact the court.

There are many things that can go wrong with probate, including proving the will. Rather than list every single thing that can go wrong best to contact the court and ask them to explain what has happened and what they want to fix the problem.

Hi Thanks for replies, not sure if they would let us know. Wife is one of the beneficiaries but is not the executor & I am afraid the executor could not organize the proverbial.
