I have been suspended from work. I entered my workplace yesterday and was called aside and told I was suspended and I was to leave the grounds immediately.

I was not told why I was being suspended, only that it was for some form of misconduct.

I would like to me know what my employee rights are. Should I have been told what I was to have done?

Please help.

Thank you

Are you being paid while suspended and are you permanent or temporary or casual?

I wouldn't have thought they can do that without any reason. I know if they fire you they need to give you 2 weeks notice ( in most cases ).

It is a permanent position and they said I was suspended with pay.

OK. They can only suspend if the employment contract or award or EBA allows it.
