VIC Money from ex boyfriend

Hi,
My ex boyfriend and I broke up about a year ago now and he still owes me $500 from when we had moved out and bought furniture together. I let him take the furniture and he kept on saying he would give me the money, though has now decided he doesn't want to give it back to me. I have tried contacting him multiple times and he has blocked my number and I have no way of contacting him now and am unsure of what to do next.

$500 for furniture that you bought together?

Look, I could go into lengthy detail about property settlement or small claims, but pursuing justice is going to cost you more than $500, even if you win. Better to write it off as a bad investment and move on.
