Hi,

I applied for a house and the real estate agent said the landlord offered it and I replied accepting.

The real estate agent then opened the property for another inspection and signed the lease with another applicant

They state our previous correspondence doesn't matter as nothing was signed or monies exchanged. Is this correct or did the email form an initial agreement?

Hi rsjaus, even though it was unethical that they didn't proceed with you, I think as there was no signed agreement with you or money exchanged, there seems little you can do.
