NSW Joint ownership of a vehicle

Given that NSW no longer allows vehicles to be registered in joint names, is there a way that a vehicle can be legally the joint property of two parties?

To give some more context, I have a valuable classic car registered in my name but would like to sell a half share of it to a friend.
