Is it possible to make an official complaint about a lawyer behaviour? My ex-husband's lawyer shared personal information with him from a previous case involving me (she was defending the person taking me to court).

That case was discontinued but I'm aware she discussed it with my ex-husband. Even as far as her discussing it with my lawyer while they were sitting at her bar, leaving ex-husband's family members to hear, also.

In NSW, you can make a complaint under the Legal Profession Uniform Law Application Act 2014 to the office of the Legal Services Commissioner Office of the Legal Services Commissioner

You would have to make your complaint in writing, identifying yourself, the lawyer you are making the complaint about and the details of the complaint.

The details of how to make a complaint can be found here: Making a complaint
