My partner and I were discussing what we would like to be done with our bodies when we die. We would both like if we were able to keep the other's bones, should the other die first.
Is it legal for me to leave all or part of my bones to my partner in my will, or vice versa?
We have both established that we would like to be water cremated, a process using alkaline hydrolysis to leave only the bones behind, which are then pulverised into 'ashes'. If I state that I would prefer to skip the pulverising part, would the funeral home be allowed to give my partner my bones?

I have tried to research this but have only found information specific to the scattering of ashes and the legality of buying and selling human bones.

Hi Ash,
I would think that the best way to do this is include a specific clause in your Will as to what you’d like to happen.
