hello I turned 18 two days ago however my dumbass didn't think about after and caught shoplifting at woolies. i am not a citizen here, i am student and it was my first time.
I was with my boyfriend who is 16 got caught shoplifting as well. and for bad luck, the police was inside and they asked us name, address, phone number and so on. however i got scared, i told the police that im 17 instead of 18. they might find out later next year when i need to go back police station for interview and stuff. i also got caught because of not telling my boy friend to stop.
i dont know whats going to happen. do i have to go interview? will i get criminal record? do i have to jail? court?
