Hi,
My husband had signed a lease contract but became bankrupt. He never missed a payment and always paid water and electricity. Before exiting the house, he had informed the property manager about the upcoming bankruptcy and that he had found another tenant that was happy to take over the lease.
The property manager turned this down and sent us a letter to vacate the property within 7 days after the bankruptcy went through, which he did. He has given them the full bond to retain as well. He was up to date with all payments. Now he found out the real estate agent has put him on the TICA list.
What steps does he take to take legal actions in this matter?
Kind regards.
