WA holidays paid or unpaid

If I work part time at 50 hours a fortnight am I entitled to take holiday leave being paid or unpaid as I've worked for 8 years and never really had time off except Xmas when the business closes down for max 4 days

Hi Lisa, you should be able to take leave in your case. If you are a permanent part time employee, you have probably accrued leave. I'd simply ask your employer for some leave, have the discussion with your employer. Good luck. Paul.
