Giving an affidavit to the ATO detailing a persons income that was not declared.

I know of a court case where a person detailed his income in an affidavit to the court which amounted to several million dollars. I know that he has not declared this income to the ATO. Can I give this affidavit to the ATO to assist them in the investigation.
