Hey all,
hypothetically speaking if I had committed a crime in 2018 and only this year 2021 finalised it all via the courts and received the following -
-CCO 15 months
-recorded without conviction
crime being ‘obtain property by deception’ whilst working within retail.
since 2020 to present I have been employed with a company within the same field - during hiring I provided genuine references and no questions regarding criminal history were asked.
My question is, if they were to find out, could they terminate me? I understand there are materials discussing employees that commit and are convicted etc DURING their employment, but none regarding crimes done in the past.
Thanks!
