I’ve had my 11yo daughter full-time for 18 months due to alcoholism, emotional and physical abuse and neglect. We have no parenting orders, previously 50/50, and she hasn’t attempted to get her back the entire time. I am considering relocating interstate due to better work opportunities and schooling options for 11yo. My daughter refuses to see her mother, and would be kicking and screaming if made to return. She’s also in counseling with a social worker due to what’s happened. My question is, how likely would it be my ex is granted a recovery order, should she apply? Given she’s had almost 2 years to seek one prior to moving interstate. Thanks

Impossible to speculate.
That said, rather than worry about a Recovery Order,
why don't you make an application yourself for Parenting Orders?
