My mum has passed away and myself and 2 sisters are equal share in her estate, the executor is mums solicitor.
he sold her house after it being on the market for 2 days and I believe it was way under valued.The property settled on 27th sept and we have since been told that the property had never had its final building inspection, final plumbing inspection and pool approval.
The solicitor has held back 5k to pay for these issues with council.
Mum had the house built in 2004, i did not think the settlement would go through if there was any council indiscrepancies.
He didnt show us the contract of sale and blatanly told us he didnt have too
the solicitor is very rude and does not give us prompt or correct answers.
I have a sneaking suspicion that he bought the house for himself which I dont think is legal.
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
