My ex has his car stored in my garage, it was kept there when we were together but then we broke up. He left a few months ago and his name has been removed from the lease. I asked him in writing 4 weeks ago to get the car out. The car isn't registered or drivable. Is there a way I can force him to take his car, or anything I can do to get the car out of my garage?

Get friends/tow truck and park it on the street. Do not tell your ex prior that you are doing this.

Then tell ex to pick it up when it is on the street, else someone may report it as abandoned to the local council.

Then you or a friend calls the council after 7 days if the car is still there to report an abandoned car. You do not say how the car was placed there.
