VIC email harrassment

Hey all,

Stuck in a weird situation. Made some very harassing emails to another person A using an email address which contained my name.

just to keep anon my last name is unique; but say my name is Nick Oastangeen and i used the email [email protected]

Now person A knows my name (but probably can't spell it correctly), but don't think they know my mobile/address.

Now i receive an email in THAT email address stating me to go to my police station. I replied ok but what is this about.


-am i legally obliged to go to the station? or provide any details via email?
-if i do go then isnt that telling them that's my email account? or is it the name is similar to my actual name enough in court o flaw

You do not have to attend a police station.
However if they know where you are they could arrest you.
