QLD disclosing personal terms to a third party

i have purchased finance through an on-line company for a car, all agreed and settled. i contacted the dealership to make sure my loan had been paid to their bank Ac, i was informed by the dealership that all they had received was my loan statement disclosing my rate, repayment schedule, term of loan etc. is this a breach of my personal security between myself and the lender.
