Good afternoon,

My husband and I have several screenshots where claims have been made about us on Facebook. For example, statements made about not lodging taxes to avoid child support. Name calling, "sperm donor" "whore", "deadbeat dad". None of those things are true.

Sure these people can have opinions, but the taxes, etc., are always lodged and child support paid.

Would we or do we have any recourse for defamation? If so, is there a time period?

Thank you.

You can apply to the court for an extension, but unless there was some recent damage you can pin onto these comments I don't like your chances.
