SA Custody of Children - Rules of Paying Half of Regular Payments?

My ex and I have always paid half of items like uniforms, etc. We share the custody of children 50/50 and he pays child support as he earns more.

He is now asking me to pay half of something that is a regular payment that he pays for, but refuses to pay half of something I pay for regularly. Is this correct?

Yes - child support is the extent of his legal responsibilty... If you ask CSA to collect the money for stuff like uniforms they will not do it.
