My mother recently died and has left her estate to myself and my two sisters which makes us co-owners..As co-owners do we need approval of all co-owners to make alterations to the property?
I currently live on the property with my elder sister, she recently put a deadbolt on the door of the room she sleeps in without informing me or my other sister..is she able to do this legally? What are our rights as co owners and can we be made to pay rent to the other co owners if say only 1 of us chose to live here?
