Hi, my legal question: I have 3 children that attend a local Catholic School. My son is in year 11, daughter in year 10, and son in year 8. I am a single parent as well.
The school has suspended my 2 youngest children along with many others in years 7-10, for not having a school blazer which are $195 each. Myself along with other families cannot afford Blazers as the children are still growing and will need to replace them up until year 12. I was notified via a text from my daughter saying that as of tomorrow that both my youngest are suspended until a blazer is purchased.
What right does a school have in disadvantaging my kids from getting an education which I pay for?
