Hi, I was reversing out of a car parking space in a supermarket carpark very slowly with nothing around, as i turned for a split second to look forward another car came along quickly driving behind me and my tow bar hit their passenger door. Will this be seen as my fault as i was the one reversing even though they were driving fast and not paying attention?
It is all about who did what first.... if you were already half way through your reverse when they turned up and then they expected to push past, they got another thing coming! If however they were driving that course before you started reversing, then you should have given way.
