Hello. I brought a car from budget auto group in Chester Hill NSW. CAR WAS TRANSPORTED to Victoria. You see I think when the car reached Victoria the guys who towed it jump started it directly from battery in boot. The tools were removed from boot console and scattered about. Battery brace was also cracked open. I think jump starting car that way fried the ECU and I'm almost certain that the mechanic the dealer uses is not BMW certified. Been 3 weeks and dealer has told me for 2 weeks it would be that week. Now say he doesn’t know when car is getting towed but he’s paid for it and here’s the number call the guy yourself. I have done that a few times and I can’t understand a word he says except ‘sorry my friend, bad man driver he not come when say’. Fair trade claim lodged however I’ve taken a risk and put deposit on another car and I need money asap to pay for it. Can I pay for tow take the lose and get assistance insisting I be refunded?

As a consumer dispute, this is a civil matter, and
on that basis, is outside the jurisdiction of the police.
