My previous employer agreed to buy me a vehicle and I pay the loan. I paid $7600 through salary sacrifice before leaving the job, and am in process of getting loan myself. Now they have said no to the car and have taken it back and also threaten to sell it with $5000 worth of accessories I purchased.

This was a verbal contract/agreement and all employees new this. Can they take the car off me legally if I keep giving them the loan repayments?

What can I do? Sue? Go through QCAT? Please help.

Depends on the terms of the oral agreement. What was to happen if you left employment?

re: $5k accessories. Arguably you should be reimbursed for accessories you paid for if the car is not returned to you.

Suggest you see a lawyer to work out the next steps.
