I have a query around my bonus payment. The calculation is based on my performance and company performance and the contract states it will be calculated on your base annual salary. The matrix is very clear and easy to understand.
There is is also a statement noting that employees who commence after September are not eligible to receive the bonus. Luckily I commenced July so I am eligible.
The confusing part comes in that there is no statement anywhere in the contract that states that if you commence during the year the bonus will be be paid pro rata based on your time at the company. I am being told though that this is the case. Do I have a case to argue this?
