Co-executor of will has registered mail sent by estate administrators and independent lawyer and is purposely making themselves unreachable.

What can I do next? Friends are saying apply to have them removed but at what cost and can a solicitor do this and at what cost to myself? What process would be put in place to go ahead with this?

1. Co-executor? Are you the other one? How many co-executors are there?

2. If you have (an) executor(s), what then is an "estate administrator"?

3. To have an executor removed, you would need grounds.
You would need the help of a solicitor to examine the facts and circumstances
to work out if you have grounds.

4. Sometimes, this costs can be met by the estate. Ask your solicitor

Hi Tim

Yes I am the other co-executor and the law firm of my departed parent has what they call their estate administrators, who are the only people that we have dealt with during the nearly 12-month period.

Since the period of non-compliance of the co executor, I have talked to the solicitor who is managing the estate and from what he knows now, has said the only thing he can advise me to do is ask my solicitor about an application to remove him as he is also the solicitor for the other executor.
